This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager, energetic, social, kind and ready to learn whenever they are in the classroom. They come from a variety of nationalities and diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

When I can, I try to create art lessons that promote my students creativity and build their joy of art.

I would like to replace my old, used art supplies with new supplies including paper, markers and paint. My plan is to recycle my old supplies by giving them to the students who do not have art supplies in their home.

All my students, no matter where they live or what kind of family they come from, view their classroom as their second home where they feel loved, safe and accepted for who they are. This classroom culture gives my students the confidence to task risks and be successful at school.
