My Project

My Kindergarten students are curious, creative, and excited to learn each day. I want to create a classroom environment that supports collaboration, hands-on learning, and student engagement. New desks and child-sized tables would help provide flexible learning spaces where students can comfortably work together, participate in small groups, and enjoy interactive classroom activities.

Young learners spend much of their day reading, writing, creating, and exploring.

Having updated classroom tables and desks designed for Kindergarten students will help create an organized and inviting learning environment that encourages focus, independence, and teamwork.

This project also includes a small sit-and-stand teacher desk that will help maximize classroom space while allowing me to move easily throughout the room to better support and interact with students during instruction and activities.

These resources will be used daily during reading instruction, STEM activities, writing centers, partner work, and classroom discussions. Flexible seating arrangements also allow students to move smoothly between learning activities and help create a positive classroom community where all students can thrive.
