Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, my kindergarten students put on headphones and are asked to do something that can shape their academic future: listen, think, and demonstrate what they know. Through i-Ready Reading and Math assessments, students must carefully listen to directions, questions, and stories before selecting their answers. For a five-year-old, hearing clearly can mean the difference between confidence and confusion, success and frustration.

When audio is unclear, students can miss important words, misunderstand questions, and struggle to show their true abilities.

High-quality headsets provide my students with the opportunity to focus without distractions, hear every detail, and confidently engage in their learning. These headsets will help ensure that their assessment results reflect what they truly know, not what they missed because they couldn't hear clearly.

For young learners, listening is the foundation of comprehension, reading, communication, and academic growth. By providing quality headsets, you are giving my students the tools they need to build confidence, strengthen critical listening skills, and fully participate in the digital learning experiences that prepare them for future success.
