Help Give Next Year's Students an Updated Imaginative Play experience.

Help me give my students an updated classroom. I am focusing a few centers at a time and right now my project is our music center, dramatic play center, as well as an addition for our block center.

My Project

I have included items to update our dramatic play, music and block center. Dramatic play is our most used center, but we currently have a lot of empty space. The students also love baby dolls but we just do not have any of the babies or clothes to make them intriguing to play pretend with. I would love for them to gain more from our dramatic play center with grocery items to set up shop scenarios as well.

My pre-k students love music just as much as our dramatic play center but I hope to update these centers to make play more meaningful.

They like dancing and playing music in our class but our music center currently does not get used as much, so I would really like to update it with new exciting instruments that would interest them to explore that center more.

I also included magna tiles as my students have loved these in another classroom and get a lot of use out of these, but we do not have in my classroom. This will also give them a new block style to play and experiment with out of our typical wood or duplo blocks.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
