My Project

I currently teach sixth grade English Language Arts, but I also have a deep love for all things history. I see the importance of integrating these two subjects in novels that are chosen for my classroom. Over the past few years, I have learned that my students love reading historical fiction. As a class, we read the novel, Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson. The copies that I currently have been used for several years and are falling apart. We are in desperate need of new copies of this classroom favorite. It is my hope to continue teaching this unit for many years to come. This book is full of twists, action, and characters that my students quickly fell in love with. I hope you will consider donating to my project so that I can continue this well-loved novel unit.
