Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As the year winds down, our Spirit Club is planning for next year. This year the scholars have learned how to use the Circut to design, cut, and make custom t-shirts. They have requested a light box to make intricate cuts easier to weed as well as a smaller heat press for their smaller designs.

When a design has more intricate cuts, it can be very difficult to see where the cuts are, so the light boxes will make the cuts more clear, and shorten the amount of time it takes to weed the designs.

More heat presses will allow the two advisors to press shirts at the same time which will also help speed up the process when making t-shirts. The small press will be helpful for small designs that they want to put on the sleeves of the t-shirts.
