This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am passionate about my diverse and resilient students, many of whom face challenges related to poverty and trauma. The requested therapeutic journals will serve as crucial tools in the counseling office, offering a safe space for them to express and process their emotions. My goal for this project is to provide a therapeutic outlet that aids in emotional well-being, resilience, and improved focus during counseling sessions.

What makes my students special is their strength in overcoming adversity.

These journals will not only serve as a means of self-expression, but also as a tool for building coping mechanisms, fostering a positive impact on their emotional health, and overall learning experiences.
