My Project

I am moving back into the classroom after nine years of being an English Language teacher. When I first left the classroom at the age of 24, I had no intention of coming back. So year after year, I gave away all my classroom teacher things to brand new and returning elementary teachers at my building. Well, now I'm back and have no things to speak of. While our building does receive funds to supply students with things extra clothes and earbuds, what we really need is basic supplies.

Our district has a supply list that comes out every year, but not many families can afford them, especially for more than one child.

Those who can, usually purchase earbuds and most earbuds do not fit children in elementary school.

I am asking for a class set of headphones to be able to provide them to my students. This way, all students have equitable access to their education. We will use them during independent work time in both math, reading, as well as any other time they may need quiet.
