Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
There are 23 children in all; 13 boys and 10 girls.
Our collaborative Kindergarten class is a fun-loving, caring group of children and they are very bright, enthusiastic learners.
There are 8 students with special needs. Seven special needs students receive speech services 2-3 times a week. 7 of the 8 special needs students receive OT services 2 times a week. 4 of the 8 special needs students receive PT services 2 times a week. 2 of the 8 special needs students receive counseling 1 time a week. 7 students receive pull out ELL services 5 times a week for one period a day.
My Project
My students love to learn! They have the opportunity to use iPads twice a week to engage in a program that reinforces Math and ELA skills they are learning. The program also individualizes instruction. We need headphones to make this happen.
It is nearly impossible to use the iPads all at once without headphones; they each deserve to have their own headphones to use with their iPads, don't you agree?
We've purchased ear buds, but they just don't fit their tiny ears properly. We are in need of kids headphones in order to use this program properly. Can you help us?
