My Project

Every student deserves the opportunity to fully engage in digital learning. Our elementary school is requesting 300 pairs of USB-C headphones...one for every Bear Cub in our building. These headphones will ensure that each child has reliable access to the technology they use every day.

Our students use district-issued Chromebooks for online lessons, educational programs, intervention activities, research, and state assessments and they need headphones that will help students hear directions clearly, minimize distractions, and stay focused while working independently.

Whether they are practicing reading skills, strengthening math concepts, or completing important assessments, headphones are an essential part of the learning experience.

For many of our students with disabilities, headphones are even more than a convenience...they are an important accommodation. Students who receive read-aloud support or use text-to-speech features rely on headphones to access grade-level content with privacy and dignity while remaining engaged alongside their classmates. Having a dedicated pair available ensures these students can receive the support they need without delay.

Our district has requested that schools use USB-C headphones because they are compatible with our Chromebooks, and the USB-C connection is more durable and easier to repair if damage occurs. This helps extend the life of the headphones and ensures they remain available for students throughout the school year.

Providing a pair of headphones for every student means no one has to wait to participate, share equipment during instruction, or worry about whether headphones are available. Your support will help create equitable access to digital learning while giving every Bear Cub the tools they need to learn, focus, and succeed.
