This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having healthy snack bars in my classroom to give to hungry students can make a world of difference in student focus, concentration, mood, and overall well-being. Many students come to school hungry. They have responsibilities at home and often do not have time to eat breakfast. I want to have healthy snacks to give to students to help them alleviate their hunger. They can then work to their full potential instead of feeling the pains of hunger. A healthy snack can make a healthy student. Healthy snacks will provide healthy living essentials.

Hungry students cannot focus on their classwork.

A healthy snack can help alleviate hunger pains and allow students to concentrate on their schoolwork and life essentials. A fed student is a happy student.
