Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sometimes students come to school and they were rushing out the door and forgot to eat breakfast or their tummy hurts from hunger. Students who are worrying about hunger or when they will get a chance to eat again are not able to focus fully on learning. Having snacks available in the classroom for students who may need a quick bite of food to go back to focusing on learning is so important. I want to ensure the students in my classroom do not have to worry about these things while also trying to navigate learning to read or completing math problems.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
