My Students

Teaching preschool is my passion. My class is full of three-year-olds who are so excited and enthusiastic to learn each day. My students come with a range of struggles; some with learning difficulties, others with difficulties outside of school, such as poverty or being homeless. Regardless of their situations, it is my job to ensure that their first school experience is a positive one.

One of the many things I love about preschoolers is their endless imagination and excitement for new knowledge.

Preschool is a year full of wonder, curiosity, and growth, and it is my job to keep that excitement alive to create lifelong learners.

My Project

Help provide my classroom with healthy, nonperishable, snacks to keep them full throughout the school day. These snacks will be used to supplement breakfast or lunch for picky eaters, as a mid-day snack, or sent home to families in need.

Many of my students come from homes of poverty or limited resources and are unsure what their next meal will be, let alone how healthy it will be.

My goal is for all of my students to be full, healthy, and ready to learn and these snacks will be used to help this.
