Healthy Snacks for Healthy Bodies and Brains!

Help me give my students YAMEES Organic Lollipops, Cooper Street granola bars, and various nutritious snacks to fuel their bodies and brains throughout the school day.

My Project

Our school is a Title I district serving a vibrant community with significant economic needs. I truly love my students because they bring such diverse backgrounds and perspectives to our classroom; I learn as much from their unique life experiences as they learn from my instruction.

Students are coming to school needing food, clothing, and love.

I want to be able to give my students a small healthy snack at school.

The resources in this project will help me give my students a healthy snack in my classroom so they can fully engage in the classroom. Hungry students cannot learn because their fundamental needs have not been met.

I am requesting a variety of healthy snacks and bottled water that will provide proper nourishment and hydration and will keep them satisfied during the day.

My goal for this project is to create a nourishing environment where my students feel supported and energized, allowing them to participate actively in their lessons and reach their full academic potential. Additionally, I hope this project will start a discussion about the importance of healthy eating in Early Childhood Education.
