Healthy Snack Alternatives for Alternative School Students

Help me give my students new, fun healthy food choices to fend off hunger during the school day!

My Project

My students attend our county's alternative middle school due to significant behavioral deficits that greatly impact their ability to learn in a traditional school environment. All of my students have multiple diagnoses, and some have sensory issues that leave them struggling to eat the food provided by the school.

My hope is to provide them with new food options that encourage them to explore healthy eating.

Hungry students are more likely to lose focus and become dysregulated, which makes it hard for them to find success in the school environment. Please help me help my students!
