Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are awesome! The work hard and they strive for excellence. As an educator I strive to find the leader in all students. I believe that every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is motivation and exposure to new experiences. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspects.

My three classes are made up of 25 students each.

Each class brings something different and unique to class each day. The one common goal that each class brings is the thirst for wanting to learn and grow.

My Project

Substitute sweet treats by providing an healthy alternative! With the purchase of bottled water and healthy snacks, students will be motivated to do their very best so that they can earn them as incentives. These healthy items will allow me to keep my students actively engaged, excited, focused, and most of all, hydrated!

Teachers no longer have to be limited to using sweet things like lollipops or chocolate as rewards.

When this project is fully funded, my students will have something 'healthy' to look forward to, in addition to scoring and soaring high! Please help us bring this project to life!
