My kids are awesome!! Because of where they are from it is easy for some people to write them off and put negative labels on them, but they are just a group of kids with limited resources and experience. As an educator it is my mission to give them an escape from any worries or doubts by providing them with a meaningful learning environment. Our Title One school is a growing school with many challenges and 100% of the students receive free lunch. Through commitment and setting high expectations my kids try their best at everything they do. In order for them to continue to be successful in school and life, resources and materials are needed. Despite limited resources my kids want to grow and learn, and as a community we are charged with ensuring continued positive growth.
