My Students

My students are second graders in rural Kansas. Getting back to a “normal” school year has been a great adventure.

Our students are very smart and very diverse.

We have a high percentage of students who qualify to receive free or reduced-price lunches throughout our district.

Our students are special and deserve everything we can teach them. They work hard every day, and they are excited and eager to learn. Some students come from not your traditional living situations, which makes us all unique in our own ways.

My Project

As we are hitting the winter months, hands are becoming dry. Students' hands have cracked because of the cold dry air. By providing them with lotion, this will help a lot because they have to wash their hands often.

Warmth and healthy hands help us all.

My students could utilize T-shirts for field trips and to stay warm during the winter months. These T-shirts will have multiple uses as students can benefit from them in more then one way.

This is a project that we all could utilize. Thank you for checking our project out!
