When students first saw the materials, they were excited and eager to begin creating, especially knowing they would be working alongside their 6th grade buddies on this project.\r\n\r\nWorking together, older and younger students collaborated on card designs and thoughtful messages of gratitude and encouragement. In addition to the cards, students are including small care items such as lotion and lip balm to bring comfort to recipients. These shared moments sparked meaningful conversations about empathy, service, teamwork, and community responsibility.\r\n\r\nThe next steps include delivering the cards and reflecting on how their kindness impacted others. This project aligns strongly with Allstate's commitment to compassion and service while helping students build writing skills, creativity, collaboration, and social-emotional awareness.
