These interactions encouraged students to see beyond age differences and recognize common interests, laughter, and the simple joy of spending time together. For many students, this was their first meaningful interaction with seniors outside of their own families, broadening their perspective and understanding of the aging community.\r\n\r\nThe experience also helped students develop empathy and social awareness. They became more mindful of how their actions and words affect others and showed genuine kindness and care toward the residents. For many of them, this is a rare opportunity to take part in organized sports.
