These books and fidgets will assist guidance lessons and support individual student needs. Our students want to learn how to manage themselves better. We, as a district, are using second step to teach students social emotional skills lessons. Students are learning skills that will help them throughout their lives. The skills that they learn in lessons with support of school counseling, assist them to cope with everything that is going on in their lives. The fidget toys will provide every classroom a variety of materials that students can use if they recognize the need to support coping. The books will help them with individual needs.
