This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A quaint urban inner-city on Lake Michigan is known for its beauty, small-town charm, growth in a diverse population, and dedication to excellence in education for all children. It is important to view each and every one of our students from a multicultural lens. With this, each student should have the same opportunities to thrive and grow.

95% of our students are economically disadvantaged.

My students need extra attention academically, socially, and emotionally. The students I serve are 5th-grade students. A high percentage of my class are minority students, many of my students have unique learning needs.

My Project

These health and wellness products along with healthy snacks will continue to support student learning in a clean and safe environment. My students are very conscious of the importance of health and wellness. They eagerly appoint themselves to various jobs such as sanitizing their desks, keeping devices clean, and the classroom nice and sanitized. With these products and snacks, students will be able to focus and successfully complete their assignments as well as have the energy to help their peers succeed as well. I have a great group of students who love school and I love being their teacher!
