This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Against all odds, my students show up to school happy and eager to learn each and every day. I have anywhere between 22-24 students who love being with their teachers and classmates. My students want to feel successful and proud, and it is my responsibility to ensure they have the tools they need to reach these objectives. The worst feeling a teacher can have is not being able to execute a fantastic lesson due to lack of materials. My students deserve better and with your help, their dreams are possible.

My Project

100% of my students receive free breakfast each morning in school. However, they need to eat this breakfast in the classroom. Even though they try their hardest to not make a mess, they are first graders and spilled milk is a daily event.

We desperately need these cleaning supplies to keep our room clean, free of germs and crumbs that invite unwanted guests.

The book totes will keep their take home books clean and in good condition to last the school year. I need to keep classroom clean and sanitized, so my students remain healthy the entire year and able to attend school each day.
