My students are eager to learn everyday!! I am teaching first grade for the first time and I'm astonished at how much growth they've made. They love to read and I want to supply them with all the tools they need in order to help them be successful. I want to challenge them everyday and keep things fresh and interesting. My school lacks the funding and unfortunately the students suffer. I have been purchasing all the materials and it has become very costly for me. I spent my summer hunting garage sales for books and supplies for my classroom. I feel my students deserve some new books and any other materials they need to reach their goals.
