What a great way to start the new year. My students and I are so grateful for all of these beautiful supplies. We will utilize the label maker and the folders to personalize our work. The file holder will help us keep our work organized. \r\nThe colorful post it notes and pens will make things fun and exciting for my students. I mean who doesn't love a 5 colored retractable pen. \r\nThe plastic envelope file holders are used to transport reading logs back and forth from home to school. The students are taking ownership of their responsibilities and this will follow them for a lifetime.\r\nAs I always say the bigger lesson here for my students is the generosity of others and their willingness to help us. I take this opportunity to teach my students the importance of paying it forward and how a simple act of kindness can go a long way.\r\nThe way they can pay it forward is to take care of these supplies so they will last for my next group of students.
