My Students

I currently work with students who are interested in healthcare. With Covid and being virtual (online) last school year, the students have lost their drive to learn. My students are coming back full time this 2021-2022 school year and need opportunities to be immersed in healthcare through hands-on activities and supplies that will help my students grasp the difficulty content in healthcare.

My Project

Currently I teach Nursing Assisting 3 and Allied Health 3 classes. These tools will allow my students to work hands-on learning vital skills needed to work for a future in healthcare careers and prepare the students for industry certification testing. In my classes, we practice skills that would be performed in the real world. This project allows the students to use the tools in the correct way that stimulates what they will be doing when they become a CNA and an EKG technician. I work at a low income school and our resources and funding are not always available.
