My Students

My students attend our neighborhood school and can be seen running down the sidewalks to eagerly arrive for their day. They are fortunate to be part of a free breakfast program and most students qualify for free or reduced-rate lunch. My students​ are eager to learn and have a passion for learning. They love school and often say, "Do we have to leave?" First graders have lots of energy and like to be challenged. It is my passion to make learning fun and exciting.

My Project

We are in very difficult times in education right now. My students were mostly remote all of last year. Thankfully this year we have been in school and hope to remain in school. We are fortunate to have one Chromebook per student. However, I do not have enough headphones for my students. We need one pair per student. It can get loud and it is very distracting for some students when we are on the Chromebooks at the same time. Thank you for thinking of my kind, polite, energetic first grade learners.
