Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With technology becoming a big part in every day life, my students use Chromebooks every day during math and literacy. My school is 1-to-1 school, which means that every student in fourth grade has his/her own Chromebook. While this is very beneficial to help individualize each students learning, several programs that we use are interactive students have to put the volume on low so they won't disrupt the learning environment. When this happens, students can barely hear what the program is even teaching them! I also have students who are Multi-language Learners who need test and quizzes read aloud to them. When headphones are provided, scholars can have the tests read aloud to them without causing any distractions to others.

These headphones will allow my students to focus on their individualized lessons and tests on the Chromebooks without disrupting others.

This will minimize distractions caused by 32 computers all talking at once.

By donating to our project, you will help students grow academically. My students will be able to focus on their own academic task at hand and not what noise their neighbor's computer is making.
