Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a title 1 school with a majority of its students coming from a low socio-economic background. My students are very eager learners. They love learning new things and get excited when they grasp a new concept. My students have grown so much since the first day that they walked into my classroom. They have become such a community together during these hard times of COVID.

My Project

I am looking for headphones for each one of my students. I have 40 students this year because I teach two classes. With Covid numbers rising, we never know who will be working at home or at school. Headphones allow my students to focus on their learning especially those students who has special oral accommodations.

I have asked families multiple times to provide headphones with no avail.

The headphones that we had at the beginning of the year have now all stopped working, leaving us scrambling for headphones between 4 teachers on the 3rd grade team. Please think about helping our Kramer Colts. Thank you!
