Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in the Dual Language Immersion program at my school. This means they learn in Spanish for half of the day! My students work a lot on their computers. They also read and watch videos in Spanish and in English! A lot of what they work on on the computer requires them to listen to things in Spanish.

I also have English language learners in my class, so when they take tests, some of them use text to speech services.

A lot of tests require my students to use headphones as well.

I quickly realized that I was in dire need of a class set of headphones. This would make it easier instead of going to different teachers and asking if I could borrow theirs.

Having a class set of headphones will enhance the environment in my classroom and ensure that my students have the resources needed for success.
