This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Headphones are a valuable tool in our classroom for listening to educational content and focusing during independent work. Students only use headphones when given explicit instruction by me. However we still lack enough headphones for each child to work independently. I work in a low income based school with many who are homeless. Asking parents to get headphones is not possible and the district does not have the funds to provide new ones. Having new headphones for each student would insure each child has the opportunities they need to recieves the best education possible.
