This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students use chromebook devices daily in our technology rich environment. The BEST way for them to get the most out of our online intervention programs and testing platforms is to have quality headphones. These headphones will allow my students to hear instructions clearly and access the content at the highest level. They can have the programs explain sample items and give them hints but many students don't use these features because they don't have headphones to keep them from being distracted by others.

Testing is a crucial piece of our year and we use the data with students to encourage growth and good practices.

Many of my students are English Language Development students and have access to text to speech functions on these assessments. With quality headphones they will be able to access these accessibility features with ease to assist them with test taking. My students are learning to take ownership over their data and I want them to have every opportunity to succeed, which means giving them access to good headphones.
