My Project

My goal is to teach young learners the joy of reading and being able to support their reading skills the best I can. Independent reading time is so important for students who are learning how to read.

Having effective reading skills is so important for young learners, and kindergarten is where they start!

My goal with these Classroom Take-Home Bags is to be able to provide a place for students to keep their own books for independent reading time that are soley catered to their reading level and abilities. Our independent reading time is not only a social experience but time for students to practice reading the words, reading the pictures, retelling the books, making decisions as readers and talking about books.
