My Project

On days where a student is unable to eat breakfast, need a boost in energy, or are simply needing a snack, it is important to have healthy snack options to offer within the classroom. All of the snack options I selected are favorites amongst my first grade students and are nutritious.

A healthy snack in the morning helps bridge the gap between breakfast and lunch.

This allows for the students to focus on the curriculum instead of hunger pangs. These snacks will also be sent home at the end of the day to help satisfy the students until dinner.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
