My Students

Have you ever felt the waves of the ocean lapping at your feet? Or the fresh, salty smell of the beach? That is a problem my 3rd graders have living in a land-locked state.

Our school is a small Pre-K-8th grade school in Oklahoma.

My 3rd grade students do not have the ability to experience the ocean. My students are wide-eyed and ready for the adventure. Their eagerness to learn is contagious. They would LOVE the chance to visually experience ocean life.

My Project

Can you help my students with this adventure? The LCD projector would allow me to plug-in my laptop and show the children pictures of ocean animals, habitats, etc. Through a document cam, we can also work Hang Ten Math using "Quick Draw", "Math Squares", and "Two Ways".

Your support of this project will give my 3rd graders the opportunity to grow in their knowledge of the world and math concepts.
