This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love learning about life skills in our Health class. They love discussing topics that concerns their every day lives. They also are eager to learn about life saving skills that we go over in our First Aid, CPR, and AED unit.

This lesson will help promote the current following CCSD Middle School Health 8 Objectives: MS.2a.

Perform the psychomotor skills required for the administration of hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) according to the guidelines of the American Heart Association. MS.2b. Discuss the purpose, operation, and safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Please help us obtain CPR manikins and an AED Trainer.
