My Project

My sixth-grade students are an incredible group of learners who truly crave knowledge. They are at an age where abstract concepts begin to take shape, and I have found that they thrive most when they are empowered to create. Math truly comes alive for them when we move beyond plain pencil and paper and dive into hands-on exploration.

The fraction tiles, algebra tiles, counters, dry erase boards, and other items on this wishlist are carefully selected to help my students gain a visual and tactile understanding of complex sixth-grade math topics, from ratios to geometry.

By integrating these manipulatives and creative tools, I aim to transform our classroom into a dynamic lab of discovery.

It is my sincere hope that these materials will provide my students with an engaging and enriching classroom experience that fosters a lifelong love for problem-solving.
