My Students

Our school is located in a fast-growing community with families of all socioeconomic levels.

My students are like little sponges soaking up everything they see, hear, and do.

They are in person and digital learning students this year. Learning online is a new experience for many of us and they have become experts navigating our online classroom and participating in all of our lessons, assignments, and activities. They also love to read and listen to stories.

Our class is a combination of students from several cultures. They care about one another and helping each other comes easy. During our Zoom meetings, they love to share tips they have discovered while working in a digital classroom. In the classroom they love to help students that are learning English with their communication skills. Because of this, everyone knows they have a friend. They work well together and are a great team. They are amazing!

My Project

Vocabulary development cards help students build their English vocabulary. Having a photo as a reference clears up misconceptions about words, items and their pronunciation.

Problem solving STEM activities help students develop vital skills in real world experiences.

Problem solving STEM activities are specifically designed, innovative and encourage students as they build vital life long problem solving skills.

Lap desks provide freedom for students to chose different spaces to work in the classroom. Students spaced around the room is a way to social distance and have a special quiet place to work.
