My Students

My first graders are creative and ask lots of questions. They have a desire to learn new things and challenge themselves. Primary grade students need lots of hands-on activities; they like to think outside the box.

My students are good at problem solving and not giving up, and they are always looking for new ways to challenge themselves.

They amaze me by how quickly they pick up new concepts and implement them.

This year we are using the Blended Learning model in our classroom. My students are ready for any new challenge put in front of them. They are determined and are not easily discouraged. As they persevere, they are learning life skills everyday.

My Project

My first graders are hands-on learners. They need materials to help them understand math concepts. Osmo has great individualized math games. Students are able to work at their own pace to master the standards. They are working on math skills while also having fun.

Osmo is an app based program that students can check out and work on at home.

This will allow students to work on specific concepts they are struggling with at home. The program is perfect for first grade students. Each different program covers one specific standard.
