Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A "care closet" does and offers so much! This is just a small portion of items I would Iike to have available in our care closet. I would love to have hair ties and brushes available to students who need them. I have noticed many of my students coming to school with their hair unbrushed, tangled, and not clean. It simply breaks my heart to see this. When I have asked several students, they have told me they share a brush with their siblings or they couldn't find their only brush.

Having hair that is brushed and taken care of can boost a child's self confidence.

It is very important to have self confidence when learning in school.

Thank you for reading my project. These items will greatly benefit some of my female students in my school. They will be very happy to get them.
