Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Allocating resources for adequate equipment can be challenging. Our school serves a lot of students from low-income families. Over 75% of our students live in poverty. Baseball has provided an outlet for our students to participate in athletics and be a part of a team. Please consider donating to our program. Thank you!

My Project

On top of my regular teaching duties, I coach Varsity Baseball. Allocating resources for adequate equipment can be challenging. Our current pitching machine is on its last leg. I'd like to upgrade to a newer, more productive pitching machine, The Hack Attack. The Hack Attack throws all different pitches from left and right-handers and varies speeds with quick adjustments that take less than a minute. This allows for more practice time and will help prepare our players for live games. Sports has been a savior for many student athletes, and I can vouch for the value that it brings to our student-athletes. Please consider donating to our program. Thank you!
