My Students

I am a teacher in a high-poverty/low-income school. My students face many challenges every day in and out of the classroom. My goal as their teacher is to provide them with as many learning opportunities as I can.

My students walk through my classroom door every day excited to learn and share about their life experiences.

As their teacher, I strive to make them feel loved, valued, heard and show them that they have the ability to reach their full potential.

My Project

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our school water fountains are closed and we must sanitize our desks many times throughout the day! Both of these inconveniences are obviously necessary for the safety of our students, however can be time-consuming without the right materials.

I am asking for reusable, refillable, leakproof water bottles and a plethora of disinfecting wipes.

Having these materials will allow my students to stay hydrated AND stay as germ-free as possible! The pandemic has caused a lot of changes and receiving our water bottles and disinfectant wipes will help us adapt to our ever-changing environment.
