My Students

I am a very lucky teacher to have such an awesome group of third graders. I teach ELA to two different groups of students. My students are tomorrow's leaders in the making. They have a hunger for learning and questioning.

My students are leaders and role models to other students in the school.

They also take these skills outside into the real world. They know the importance of being good friends and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. My students come from all different backgrounds and home lives.

They all receive free breakfast and lunch. They are an amazing group of kids that deserve the best education and classroom materials, no matter their situations outside of school. I want school to be a safe zone, a place all students want to come and learn.

My Project

With your generous donations, I will be able to learn more about guided reading and writing to better support my students. We will have a spot to organize our materials. Organization is key when you are working with 10 different small groups of students. As well as reading materials that will help support my low level readers. At the table we work closely in small groups at the different levels of my students. With the clear sleeves all students can use the same copies and write on them with dry erase markers. With your help, I will gain a better understanding of guided learning. At the same time as my students growing on their road to success.
