My students are in need of reading materials. I have such a wide variety of student reading levels in my classroom. We have some reading materials. But not enough for all students on their own levels. Some students only have 1 or 2 books on their reading levels. This makes it difficult for students to have choice of their books they read. Students take books home in their reading bags and have book boxes in the classroom. Again only having 1 or 2 books on that level, makes it hard to do so. Also having books on tape would help my low level readers have a boost of confidence when they are reading a chapter book as well. Students having a choice of what book they read is important and helps the love of reading grow.
