My Project

Our elementary students are ready to lead! With student ambassador vests, pins, and leadership materials, our students will help welcome visitors, support school events, and represent our school values with pride. This project will help our young leaders build confidence, responsibility, and a strong sense of community.

The elementary school students at my school are unlike students anywhere else in the world.

They are uniquely wonderful in all aspects of their being. They attend a Title I school in rural North Carolina where many students face challenges outside of school, yet they arrive each day eager to learn, grow, and support one another.

Over the past year, our school has worked hard to expand opportunities for students beyond the traditional classroom experience. We have implemented an intervention block to strengthen academic skills, launched Club Day to provide enrichment opportunities, and introduced AVID strategies to help students build strong habits for future academic success.

These efforts have broadened our students’ experiences and created new and exciting learning opportunities. Our students are now ready for the next step: developing their leadership potential.
