Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how curious, excited, and hands-on my preschool students are when it comes to learning. They are natural explorers who learn best by seeing, touching, and experiencing new things. Science time is one of their favorite parts of the day because it gives them the chance to ask questions, make predictions, and discover how the world works around them.

These materials will help bring our science lessons to life.

The butterfly life cycle resin kits and plant specimen resin pieces will allow students to closely observe and understand real-life changes in nature. They will be able to see and talk about how living things grow and change over time in a way that is meaningful and easy for them to understand.

The spin wheel will help us explore wind, motion, and cause and effect. Students will be able to see how wind can move objects and change outcomes, which supports their understanding through hands-on play and experimentation.

Together, these resources will help my students build early science skills, strengthen their vocabulary, and develop a love for learning through discovery and exploration.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
