Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will help transform Spanish lessons into engaging, interactive experiences for students. Music is a powerful tool for language learning because it helps children remember vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and build confidence in speaking. The karaoke machine will allow students to sing, practice Spanish in a fun and meaningful way, and connect language with rhythm and culture.

All these materials will make the class more engaging and exciting, enabling students to learn another language—for our future is bilingual.

As a new and growing school, Vegas Vistas Academy is still building its instructional resources. These items will help create a welcoming Spanish classroom where students actively participate, develop communication skills, and gain an appreciation for the diverse cultures connected to the Spanish language. My goal is to help students see Spanish not only as a subject, but as a way to connect with people, traditions, music, art, and the world around them.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
