Graphics Design Tools for Program Promotion

Help me give my students an opportunity to complete graphics design projects for use with program advertisement and merchandise development.

My Students

The Engineering pathway at Andrada High School is made up of students in grades 10 through 12. These students are aspiring engineers who have a diverse range of plans after high school (ranging from attending a 4 year college, community college or trade school). They come from diverse backgrounds with many of them qualifying for reduced/free meal plans. They are good kids who are looking to improve their lives and their communities through educational opportunities.

My Project

This graphics design tablet will be used by students in the Skills USA club to develop graphics, images and promotional logos for a variety of school groups. Using the schools laser engraver, students will then transfer these logos, graphics and images onto a variety of materials such as key chains, etched glasses, and water bottles. Students will also use the tablet to create promotional materials for school events and awards for special events. This tablet will allow my students to combine their art skills and their engineering skills together to promote the Engineering Program and the school at large.
