My Students

I am a third grade teacher at a Title I school in Norfolk, VA.

Our students live in an urban city and come from many different economic backgrounds.

Our classrooms consist of ELL students, gifted students, and students with disabilities. We have students of mixed religions and many different races.

My Project

When my students arrive at school they come straight to my classroom for breakfast and morning work. We will use most of these resources during morning work, center time, and for homework.

My students work extremely hard, but still, need support when it comes to writing and grammar.

I have chosen the grade levels of the workbooks and sight word cards to support all of my students; students with disabilities, English Language Learners, gifted students, and students who access the general education curriculum. These resources will review reading and writing skills as well as introduce new ones.
