Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We want to start the Spring semester great with classroom supplies, laundry services, and snacks for our students. However, the food supplies ran out faster during the Fall semester than expected leaving us with an empty pantry by December. One thing never changes each semester, students are hungry throughout the school day. Sometimes they need a small snack to get through until lunchtime.

With limited snacks, and the demand high I need to always be fully stocked with snacks for hungry little minds to stay focused in class.

This project will provide snacks to any student on campus who is hungry and just needs a little snack to get through the day until lunchtime. A small snack makes a big difference in the lives of my students because they can focus on learning rather than hide the noises their stomachs are making during class time. This project will impact the lives of many current and former students who know that they can always count on Ms. A. for something to eat throughout the day. This takes place all day before, during, or after school, especially during break times. I am not just there to teach them but to help them when they require food.

Help me continue providing snacks for my hungry students. The impact that one small bag of food has on the attitude toward learning on a student is amazing. Help me continue providing snacks to my students because they don't know when their next meal is.
