This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project will help me implement a fun management strategy. The croc bracelets will be given to the student when they show their personal best, are kind to others, to celebrate good scores, participate in class, etc. After they have gotten their bracelet filled up with charms they will get to have their own desk pet at their desk. This will be a fun way to show others all their hard work. The cupcake holders will be what their desk pet lives in. The animals will be the desk pets, and the food and accessories will be fun things they can earn to decorate their desk pets house.
Our students are very hard workers and they are very excited to learn every day when they come to class this will be a fun way for them to earn their very own desk pet for their own.
We are a very diverse school; at times we will have students that speak at least two different languages, where English is not their first language. Many of my students' parents will have more than one job so that they can support their family. Even though they are not in their child's life as much as they want to, the parents still have high expectations for their own children. Because of their home life they look to us to help their student grow and become successful in life.
